Year-End Christmas Outreach 2023

This year, we'll be bringing the Gospel, gifts, food, and other necessities to four orphanages in Tijuana and the local community of our Discipleship Center, called Esperanza. We'll be gathering gift boxes and necessities for the orphanages and the neighborhood community in Tijuana with our local church partners in Southern California.

We have three phases of our Christmas Outreach, through which you can participate as little or as much as you would like. This whole program is no small feat and is our biggest program of the year. We need your help to reach our year-end fundraising goal of $50,000 to cover this program and support our ministry and operations for the beginning of 2024!

• $22,000 for the entire Christmas Outreach program, including all expenses for collection, Packing Day, administrative costs, and day trip programs, trainings, and food.
• $28,000 to run the day-to-day operations of our ministry and Esperanza, our Discipleship Center, for the first quarter of 2024.

Phase 1: Collection

• With our friends at CEC, we’re collecting 175 gift boxes for each individual child this Christmas. You can sign up to pack a gift box below. We recommend packing these into small plastic containers that the kids can reuse, along with a suggested $20 donation each box to support the entire program. This small donation goes towards putting together the entire Christmas program, including the Packing Day event, the three day trips in December, food for the children, love offering for the orphanages, administrative costs, etc. You can make your donation at www.renewalmissions.com under "Christmas Outreach and Year-End".

  • To sign up for the gift box:
    1. Click the link, and click “Get tickets” under “Free”.
    2. You’ll see the available selection to pack boxes by gender and age groups. You may sign up to pack as many boxes as you want, and in as many categories as you would like.
    3. Once all the boxes are selected, click “Register” and fill out the contact information.
    4. If there are multiple line items for multiple registered boxes, you can simply put your name in all the slots.
    5. Once finished, you can click “Register” and you should receive an email confirmation shortly.
• With all of our other friends at local churches in Southern California, we are also collecting the following food and household necessities to provide each orphanage and Esperanza as they care for the children year round. Please note to stay within the list of household items, as these are crucial foods and items that are needed the most.
  • Food: Cooking oil, peanut butter, jelly, sugar
  • Necessities: Deodorant, feminine pads, toilet paper, hand soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, white twin-size bed sheets

Phase 2: Packing and Praying

On 11/11, from 2PM to 4PM, we’ll be gathering for Packing Day to help organize, sort, and pray over the gift boxes and necessities before we transport them down to Tijuana. We’ll check through each of the gift boxes to make sure all items are appropriate for the age group and label them all for the designated orphanage, and sort through the necessities and distribute them to designated orphanages. Finally, we’ll pray over all the boxes before packing them for transportation. We need lots of volunteers to help us accomplish all these tasks!

Phase 3: Delivery

We’ll be going down to Tijuana for three separate day trips to hand deliver these gift boxes and necessities and run crafts and activities with the kids to develop meaningful and Christ-centered relationships with the kids. We are so excited to be able to celebrate Christmas with these children and bring you along with us to love them through God who Loved us first. God has provided in so many amazing ways for our ministry and we have faith that He will continue to provide. We hope that we can serve with you all as one united body of Christ this Christmas!
