Renewal Missions is committed to mobilizing the church to leverage inclusive sports as a powerful platform for evangelism and outreach. Sports have the incredible ability to break down barriers, foster connections, and open doors to share the love of Christ in a way that is inclusive and engaging for all.
The Mission
This summer, from August 26 to September 5, our team will be traveling to Paris to participate in the 2024 Paralympic Games. Our mission is threefold:
Creating a Gospel Comic Book: We are producing a comic book that combines Olympic themes with the message of salvation, designed to engage both children and adults in a compelling way.
Providing Training: We will host clinics and demonstrations to equip local churches with the tools they need to use inclusive sports as an evangelism tool.
Sharing Stories: We aim to capture and share the powerful testimonies of Paralympic athletes and their families to inspire and encourage the global church.
The Impact
By supporting this mission, you are part of pioneering a new evangelistic approach that has the potential to reach millions of people with disabilities worldwide. The Gospel comic book alone has the potential to be translated into hundreds of languages, spreading the message of hope and salvation far and wide.
The Need
The total cost for this mission trip is $40,000, which includes airfare, lodging, meals, travel insurance, and resources for our outreach efforts. Our team is comprised of 5 members. Any amount you can give will help bring this vision to life and make a tangible difference in the lives of many.
